Impact Obesity is formed
Andrea Jasper, Impact Obesity’s CEO, frustrated with the lack of support for people trying to access obesity treatment, founds Impact Obesity.
We ensure our projects align to Our Vision priorities
Support
We are developing digital health tools to support people accessing obesity treatment such as bariatric surgery and medical weight loss.
We aim to augment people's current medical care where gaps currently exist, to improve outcomes. We work closely with people undergoing obesity treatment and their health care teams in designing these tools.
Voice
We partner with established organisations to amplify the voices of those with limited access to treatment, including rural, disabled, low socio-economic, and indigenous communities.
We support fellow NGOs and empower advocacy for improved treatment access. Together, we're making a lasting impact!
Advocacy
We support peak advocacy bodies who align with Impact Obesity’s goals and values.
We independently advocate for improved access to lifestyle treatment in obesity treatment, through submissions and consultations with relevant organisations, committees and governing bodies.
